Limit Definitions
Active Licenses
An “active license” is any license that has not been deleted and has not expired. Suspended licenses still count toward the limit since they can be reinstated.
API Requests
Monthly API request count resets on the first of each month (UTC). Requests that return 4xx or 5xx errors still count toward the limit. Use SDK-level caching to minimize request volume.
Billing
- Upgrades are prorated — you pay only for the remainder of the billing period
- Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period
- Billing is managed through Stripe — access your billing portal from the dashboard under Settings → Billing

Exceeding Limits
When you approach a plan limit:
- 80% threshold — a dashboard warning appears
- 100% threshold — new resource creation is blocked (existing licenses continue working)
- Existing license validations, heartbeats, and activations are never interrupted by plan limits
No data loss
Exceeding plan limits never causes data deletion or license invalidation. Existing resources continue to function normally. Only new resource creation is blocked until you upgrade or reduce usage.
